Our highly convenient location within Blackdown Hills area of Outstanding Natural Beauty means that the thriving town of Lyme Regis is just 15 minutes away; Exeter and Taunton are just a 30-minute drive away.
It’s a great place for either a one-night stopover or longer stay. Beautiful rural views of Danes Hill and occasional visits from deer and many rabbits will add to your stay. The Taunton Cross bus stop is just a short walk away and the number 4 route gives hourly good access to Axminster, Honiton, Ottery St.Mary and Exeter.

Fantastic hosts, very welcoming and went the extra mile. Lovely welcome chocolates and biscuits. Also even 2 pints of milk in the fridge!! Pristine place and it just feels like home. The bed is soooo comfortable and the bathroom feels luxurious. Everything is just so easy and convinient, like a home from home. Beautiful views and the ability to open the door and roof windows, make you feel part of the outside. Steve, Annabelle and Jackie are so lovely and friendly. So accomodating, letting us check in early, coming to greet us and seeing if we want help. Leave you to yourselves but are just at the end of the phone of you need any help. It is our 3rd visit and we will absolutely come again.

What a brilliant place to stay. Felt like a boutique hotel suite. Loads of space, light and airy with beautiful views. All the family were warm and welcoming and made us feel at home.

From the great reception by Steve to the smallest detail this was a site I thoroughly recommend. Plenty of room, Immaculate showers and toilets, easy to find yet quiet and tranquil. A proper gem of a campsite.

This is by far the best CS we have stayed. Each pitch is spacious and not overcrowded and the modern toilet/shower facilities are kept spotlessly clean and are also very roomy. Steve and Annabelle are very helpful and are very keen to ensure your stay is relaxed in every way. They work hard at keeping the site presentable.The view looking out onto Devonshire hills adds to the relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back for more and hopefully longer next time. Thank you Steve and Annabelle.

Fantastic peaceful site (slight road noise in the distance but it didn't disturb us) with immaculate toilets & showers. Ideally situated to discover Blackdown Hills area and the Devon/ Dorset coast. We received a really warm welcome from Steve, Annabelle, Jackie and Milo the dog. It was great to have an on site dog walking field, which had great views. We'll definitely be staying there again!

My husband and I had a great stay at Steve’s shepherd’s hut. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, Steve gave us some good recommendations of places to visit nearby. The hut was lovely, very cozy and clean, would definitely recommend it :)

Lovely getaway for a few days. The hut was immaculate and perfectly presented. Was greeted by Annabelle who communicated perfectly and gave us excellent recommendations of where to go and eat in the local area. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again soon.
